| | | Much to Celebrate, Much to Anticipate | | Dear Cypress Street, What a great worship gathering on Sunday, full of special moments like singing old familiar carols, families sharing the Lord's Supper together, children playing bells & singing, and meeting some new faces! (And thank you for the warm welcome many of you were able to extend to our guests.) We also far exceeded our goal in giving to missions through the Christ Birthday Offering and heard gratitude from missionaries & Mercy Ministries that reminded us of what a joy it is to be generous. It was an exciting day that left me excited for what God has in store for future ministry opportunities here at Cypress Street! In the meantime, I want to mention a few things coming up soon: - THIS SUNDAY, the 28th, we'll have an "Acoustic Christmas" service. Casual & laid back but very special.
- Remember, no Grace Place on December 29th. We were able to help them with the cost of their Christmas Dinner, though, and we'll have another chance to serve soon!
- Next Sunday, January 4th, Bro. Karvin Adams will speak while Julie, Hadley, and I are in Oklahoma City with family.
- On the 11th, we'll kick off a brand new sermon series:
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas, Pastor Neil | | | | | | | |
