Even though we won't meet tonight, let's each be sure and turn our thoughts to Heaven to give credit to Whom credit is due. We host the Mid-America Christian University Choir as they visit NE Louisiana for a Christmas Concert on December 5th @ 6:00 PM. Area churches and especially youth have been invited. Don't miss this special evening! Each year, young & old alike join together in visiting nursing homes and shut-in's to bring some Christmas cheer. Meet us at the church on Saturday, December 12th, at 9:00 AM. Join us for a special Christmas We Pray on December 9th @ 6:30 PM. Communion, carols, and prayer. Sunrise Kids November

View this email in your browser Dear Sunrise Kids Parents & Volunteers We hope to begin keeping you better informed in the months to come about what our kids are learning about in Sunrise Kids (Children's Church). For the sake of our kids and the sake of our church, we really desire to have an increasingly AWESOME children's ministry! Not only that, we want our parents to be excited about how their kids are growing. Maybe, amongst other things, some better communication would help :) This Month's Series Tripp Bailey is the biggest teen celebrity in the world. His best friend, a "nobody," gets to see first-hand what it's like to be famous, accepted, rich, and loved by all. But he finds out that when we get to know God, we are already all those things-in a way that is beyond our wildest dreams. God is everything to us. He is all we need and can be all we want when we come to really know Him. Because of His great love for us, we can have all of our deepest needs filled in our relationship with Him. Series Family Devotions There are free Bible-reading devotional plans based on the curriculum we've begun using. Now you can do family devotions at home that correspond with what your child is learning at church!  Simply visit bible.com or the Bible app (both powered by YouVersion) and browse through the Family Plans for this month's plan: "Truth or Trash"! View this email in your browser Event Postponed Dear Cypress Street, One of the finest times of being together as a church family occurs in the Fall as we gather out at the Mitchell's home for food and fun in a beautiful outdoor setting. That event had been scheduled for this Saturday evening but, since it requires good weather, we will need to reschedule. Again, we will not be meeting out at Marlon & Charlotte Mitchell's home this Saturday. We will notify you if/when that event gets rescheduled! And just to be clear, this event is not to be confused with our Fall Festival at the church. That outreach event is still scheduled for one week from today. It's not too late to volunteer or bring candy/cookies as we look forward to that! Please pass this along to anyone you believe may not receive this notice. Thanks so much!
