But it also finds them loving each other and praising God for His goodness to them through the years! Please say a prayer for the Treadway's today. Father, as we pray for Your healing power and intervention on Brother Treadway's behalf we also praise You for the loving example they have lived so well, perhaps never more than now. View this email in your browser A Few Things Worth Celebrating This is a week for catching our breath around Cypress Street Church of God. It feels like we've had about a million things going on and they've all been so good. But this week we take a breath! While we're breathing, let's reflect for a moment and celebrate some amazing things that JUST HAPPENED! Remember when our goal of just over $20,000 for our Faith Promise budget was blown out of the water by pledges coming in at over $35,000 (that's a record folks!)? Between Faith Promise & Easter Weekends, we teamed up with North Crossings to purchase and serve meals to over 150 of Monroe's poorest. Grace Place continues to amaze us! Did you know that 553 people were invited to our Good Friday service (and that was just on our Facebook event page)? Did you know that 134 people came to that Good Friday service? That set our attendance record for services and events since I came nearly a year ago. When our Easter Invites on Facebook only numbered 104, I suggested we could double that. Did you know you "octupled" it instead??? 809! Did you know we also passed out invite cards and distributed approximately 150 door hangers in neighborhoods containing young families? Did you know we had 14 children in Children's Church on Easter Sunday and 16 youth last Wednesday? Both of those vital ministries are seeing good things happening!
