View this email in your browser Visitation & Funeral Arrangements for Charles Byrd Dear Cypress Street & Friends, Charles Byrd, a kind, good man and member of our church, passed away Monday. Charles couldn't often attend as he cared for his wife 24/7 but he loved to hear about what our church was doing and was always so encouraging in my conversations with him. The following arrangements have been made: Visitation tonight, July 28, from 5pm - 8pm at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Funeral Service tomorrow, July 29, at 11:00am also at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. CLICK HERE to view the obituary. View this email in your browser Visitation & Funeral Arrangements for Lena McFarland Dear Cypress Street & Friends, A sweet lady and member of our church passed away Saturday. Lena McFarland and her husband Gene, who passed away two years ago, were known as extraordinarily kind people and are missed by our church family.  The following arrangements have been made: Visitation tonight, July 26, from 5pm - 7pm at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Funeral Service tomorrow, July 27, at 4:30pm at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens Mausoleum on Highway 80. We thank you for your prayers & care as the family grieves. Love Offering

View this email in your browser Surprise Love Offering for Ed Stewart Dear Cypress Street Church Family, The Summer Intern we have been sharing with North Crossings Church, Edward Stewart, will be leaving right after church on July 24. He has 10 days at home in Tennessee and then heads to Oklahoma City for school. We are going to be taking up a Love Offering for him between the time you get this message and July 24th. He will be presented this love offering during the morning service on July 24th. You may give your donation to Nancy Elmore, Pat Eads, Carolyn Hogue, or put a check in the offering plate with the designation of "Love Offering". Please try to get all donations in before the AM service on July 24th. Ed has been a very good asset to the life of our church this summer and we would be helping this dedicated and talented young man with some of the expense involved with his education at Mid-America Christian University (MACU) in Oklahoma City. Thank you for your generous heart and spirit, The Board of Trustees   Other information worth noting: Tomorrow night (13th) at 6:30pm we will celebrate July Birthdays & Anniversaries with Make-Your-Own-Sundae's before our Grasping at God Lesson. Wednesday, July 20th, is cancelled for Campmeeting at Camp Pollock. Wednesday, August 10th at 6:30pm, is our Special Business Meeting to vote on the new bylaws.
