If you ask 10 people what the gospel is, you're likely to get 10 different answers. Discover what the gospel was to the very first Jesus followers & why it changes everything! We believe Easter should be an amazing celebration for adults and, especially, for kids. Children will play a song in a kids bell choir (guests are welcome that morning). And, yes, they'll definitely learn about the real story behind Easter but they'll also hunt for Easter eggs and more! Good Friday Service

These emails help inform & inspire us about what's happening at Cypress Street! Thanks for taking a moment to read it. View this email in your browser As followers of Christ, we can do ourselves a great disservice if we exclusively focus on the "happy" elements of the Easter season and ignore the suffering & sacrifice that preceded that joy. Believers who allow themselves to engage in worshipping the suffering Savior—as well as the risen Savior—can come to a place of deeper faith, surrender, and hope in Him. The purpose of our Good Friday service is to recreate the emotional and dramatic aspects of the Passion Story…to let it impact our lives and our worship. We seek to do so in a creative way, with a unique environment and dramatic elements.  This Good Friday service will be one of our most special events all year and we hope you will join us! We strive for a family-friendly environment and we always try to bear children in mind. We will provide childcare for babies and elementary-aged children.
