They'll also have the chance to take turns being ushers :) As you can see below, this is the perfect month to begin this in our children's church time. Parents, please let us know any time you have ideas for our children's ministries! Generosity is more than giving gifts and money. Generosity starts in your heart! God set the best example by giving the most generous gift ever: His Son, Jesus. If you have money, be wise with it to help you be generous. If you have time, toys, clothes, or anything else, give it to others who need it, even if it's a sacrifice that's hard for you to make. God already gave us the most generous gift ever in His Son, Jesus. Be generous is doing whatever you can to help people who can't give you anything in return. When you do that, you're giving a gift back to God. SEPTEMBER'S MEMORY VERSE 1 Thessalonians 5:18   Give thanks no matter what happens.  God wants you to thank Him because you believe in Christ Jesus. The most important factor for your child's spiritual growth are their parents! View this email in your browser Dear CypressStreetWM, I want to follow up with you about this special 8-week church-wide study we are preparing for. Keys to Freedom is a discipleship study that is designed for you to spend time reflecting throughout the week on biblical principles that we'll then discuss together on Sunday mornings.  I fully realize that many of us are not wired for working through study guides and things like that, especially us fellas. But I want to also challenge you to step outside of what is comfortable or preferable and into what may feel difficult or even awkward. Because it's often in the difficult and awkward that our greatest growth takes place! I don't make these sorts of requests often but I believe this study has the potential to equip us with principles and truths that will positively impact us for a long time to come. AND give us the tools to extend hope to others!
