A church in West Monroe, LA made up of ordinary people pursuing one extraordinary way! This blog is a place where church communication, thoughts and ideas can be posted.
Dear Cypress Street & Friends, This is the third and final email I will send ahead of the registration deadline (this Sunday) for this special conference we are hosting December 8 & 9. I wanted to share a little more of what you can hope to glean from attending this conference.
Do you believe God still talks to people?
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,…"
The passage in Ephesians 1:18 is a key to understanding the role of the "soul", the "eyes of our heart," when it comes to confidently hearing from God through His Holy Spirit or seeing what He sees. Through this conference, Todd Braschler seeks to equip believers with the tools needed for the following:
Knowing when the voice we are following is from God, and when it is not.
Realizing a confidence of the work of the Holy Spirit in our soul more than our head.
Knowing exactly where to go to hear from God, specifically hearing from within our soul.
Seeing and understanding the vision God holds for us as a person, as a leader.
You'll find additional conference logistics below and if you need a registration form you can CLICK HERE. I pray you'll take advantage of this opportunity and encourage our youth to do the same!

Dear Cypress Street & Friends, I have shared with you about the special Ephesians 1:18 conference taking place on Friday & Saturday, December 8 & 9. I wanted to take a moment to share some additional information about our guest, Todd Braschler.
I'll include his bio below but I also have a personal intersection with Todd when he came and led my worship team through a worship ministry conference during my time in Springfield, MO. That conference was a blessing and a pastor friend of mine here in Louisiana specifically recommended this particular conference to me as something to benefit the families in our church as it did his.
I encourage you to take advantage of a rare opportunity for spiritual growth. Remember, registration is due by Sunday, November 19th so we can plan appropriately for meals, childcare, and conference materials. If you did not receive a registration form on Sunday, CLICK HERE or look for one at the Welcome Table this week.
