They also share their monthly memory verses in our worship services on first Sundays as often as possible! When we get to know God, He helps us get to know who we are, too! In this four-part series, kids learn who God has made and called them to be. Following Jesus gives us a new identity because of what He has done for us. MARCH'S MEMORY VERSE Romans 5:8 But here is how God has shown his love for us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The most important factor for your child's spiritual growth are their parents! I just wanted to remind you there'll be no services this Wednesday night as we prepare for our Faith Promise missions weekend with special guests John & Gwen Johnson (see bio & schedule below)! Hope to see you Friday evening to kick it off, Pastor Neil 2019 Schedule Friday, the 22nd, @ 6:30 PM…Casual supper & hear from John & Gwen Johnson about their Global Strategy role. Saturday, the 23rd, @ 10:30 AM…Gwen leads a session for ladies about simplifying, downsizing, and decluttering. Saturday, the 23rd, @ 6:00 PM…"Family Night" dinner, kids activities & the Johnsons speak on missional value. Sunday, the 24th, @ 9, 10 & 11:15 AM…We make our 2019 promises and the Johnsons meet with adult Circles in the Fellowship Hall. John & Gwen Johnson have served in ministry for decades, including time spent in cross-cultural missions. They have lived & served in places like Korea, Egypt, Lebanon, the island of Guam, Vietnam. John currently coordinates Native American Ministries and Disaster Relief for Global Strategy and Church of God Ministries. And then we dedicate ourselves anew to the joy-giving task of generously supporting those projects for another year! We have a great weekend planned with special guests John & Gwen Johnson (see bio & schedule below)! Please note that regular Wednesday night activities will be cancelled on February 20th as we prepare for our big weekend.
