There's something special about being reminded that our faith is not just some passing fad but rather has deep roots. We stand on the shoulders of generations gone by who faithfully worshipped and served the same God in Christ Jesus whom we still yet serve today.
Sunday is a chance to recall that, especially in worship and in sharing a "pot-luck"/"dinner on the grounds" time of community afterwards. We're calling it Heritage Sunday in hopes that choirs and quartets and hymns and food shared will all recall the rich heritage we carry forth.
So don't forget to bring some food to share! And, one more thing: If you plan to attend our Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday (19th), use Sunday to be sure you're signed up in advance.
