Dear Cypress Street,
As 2017 winds down to a close, we celebrate Christmas and all that it means to us as Christ-followers. Over the next couple weeks we'll sing Christmas songs and focus our hearts in worship of the God who did not remain distant but came and made His dwelling amongst us to save us.
One way we'll express our worship is through the annual Christ Birthday Offering that supports ministries and missions of the Church of God around the world. You can read more about it in this brochure. We'll take this offering in our 10:00 AM worship service on the 24th.
I'm also excited to launch a brand new series of messages this week. It's safe to say, I've never preached through one quite like it. Simply titled, The Gospel, we'll follow the life of Jesus from birth to death & resurrection, from Christmas all the way through Easter. Epic & truth-filled, it's the message that holds the power of truth to set men & women free!
