Dear Cypress Streeters,
I'm praying that God will prepare some breakthroughs in your faith over the next 8 weeks and that He will better equip you through this study for the Jesus-way of life to which He has called you!
Most of you have ordered and received Study Guides (if you weren't able to get yours on Sunday, you can swing by & pick yours up from the office). I want to encourage you to set aside 5 sessions, 15-20 minutes each, to sit down with that study guide and work through the first week: Setting the Stage. This will prepare you for where we're going on Sunday, both in our worship gathering and in our Circles.
If you're not working through the Study Guide, I would simply encourage you to spend time in prayer--both for what God might want to do in your life and certainly that He will use this to help others go deeper with their faith, as well.
I'm excited to begin this journey with you fresh off our Church on a Mission conversation during which so many of us have committed ourselves to prayer, fasting, inviting, and giving in hopes that we might learn to go deeper and reach farther by the power of God at work in us!
