Dear Cypress Street,
We are taking 4 Sundays to look at 8 things we should increasingly value as a church. Because: When we value what matters most, we'll do what matters most!

Nobody took time for people like Jesus did! Read through a gospel and you'll be amazed at the way he valued people and took time for them. If He ever showed favoritism, it was to those who were least favored by the world. Like children! In the culture of His day, it must have been a real shocker to those children that an important teacher & celebrity like Jesus would take time for them.
Let's be known as a place where we value people, especially the "least of these!". If we're not investing the gospel of Jesus into the lives of the people around us who need it most, what are we doing??? Who can you invest in this week?
