Dear Cypress Street,
I am increasingly convinced that we are standing at a pivotal point in the life of our church. Over the past four years, we have done a lot of work and a lot of sacrificing to lay a foundation for growth and health.

I believe the time has come for us to shift our attention, efforts and prayers increasingly toward a more missional posture. To put it in more Jesus-like language, we might say it's time to become better disciples and to make more disciples. It's time to go deeper & reach farther!

This month has already taken shape as a misisonally-focussed month with special guest Lindsey Crawford of Freedom13 sharing this past Sunday, with the Mercy Girls dinner this Wednesday night (the 15th @ 6:00pm), and one of our missionary partners sharing this Sunday, the 19th.

But I especially want to ask you to mark your calendars for August 26th. Make a point to gather with us that morning! And if circumstances are such that you cannot be physically present, perhaps you can tune in through our weekly Facebook Live stream that morning at about 10:20am.
