These emails help parents stay connected as key partners in our ministry's goal of helping our students grow strong in their faith! View this email in your browser Cypress Street Kids in September SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Beginning in September, our children will have the opportunity to give offerings each Sunday. They'll also have the chance to take turns being ushers :) As you can see below, this is the perfect month to begin this in our children's church time. Parents, please let us know any time you have ideas for our children's ministries! Generosity is more than giving gifts and money. Generosity starts in your heart! God set the best example by giving the most generous gift ever: His Son, Jesus. If you have money, be wise with it to help you be generous. If you have time, toys, clothes, or anything else, give it to others who need it, even if it's a sacrifice that's hard for you to make. God already gave us the most generous gift ever in His Son, Jesus. Be generous is doing whatever you can to help people who can't give you anything in return. When you do that, you're giving a gift back to God. SEPTEMBER'S MEMORY VERSE 1 Thessalonians 5:18   Give thanks no matter what happens.  God wants you to thank Him because you believe in Christ Jesus. The most important factor for your child's spiritual growth are their parents!
