Yesterday was a big day at Cypress Street Church of God. We joined with other Church of God congregations in the US & Canada in addressing a real issue of great injustice in our world.
Yesterday, we became more aware of human trafficking.
Yesterday, we sang songs of God's might & justice.
Yesterday, we prayed prayers against darkness.
Yesterday, we were challenged and...
Yesterday, we gave.
I'm excited to share how much we gave come Sunday, March 1! But I want to give those who couldn't be present yesterday the opportunity to have their contribution represented in that announcement.

Second, I want you to know that this 1,000 x 1,000 Offering is the Church of God's effort to raise $1 Million to fight trafficking here & around the world through CHOG Trafficklight. I hope we far exceed that goal! With your help, we at Cypress Street will do our part!
Third, to give: Mail/bring a check in this week made out to Cypress Street but noted for "Freedom Sunday" (mailing address below). Or bring cash on Wednesday night to place in one of our Freedom Sunday envelopes.
