Yesterday we concluded our Let There Be Light series with the thought: We should live like light wins so those in darkness can find hope! Jesus didn't just talk about hope, he showed people hope by bringing healing to the broken, freedom to the trapped, forgiveness to the sinner, food to the hungry.
This coming Sunday, February 22, we get the opportunity to do a little darkness fighting, ourselves! We'll join with other churches around America and in the Church of God who are participating in Freedom Sunday.
On Freedom Sunday, we'll learn more about the issue of human trafficking and what the role of the church is in solving such a huge, global problem. But we're not only going to talk about trafficking, we'll also do something about it: The 1,000 x 1,000 Offering is 1,000 churches/individuals giving $1,000 to fight trafficking. We plan to be counted amongst that 1,000 and we need your help! See you Sunday...
